Job Overview

Shriners Children’s Chicago has an opportunity for a PRN Social WorkerJoin a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives.  Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most.  

Responsibilities

  • The Social Worker is responsible for providing assessments, planning, interventions and follow-up for patients and family members at Shriners Children's across the continuum of care.
  • Through this function, by joining the team, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact on our patient's experience.
  • You'll help to provide continuity of care for positive outcomes in our family centered environment.
  • In a PRN capacity, you will provide coverage for vacations, other time off as well during busy times. Partial benefits of major medical are available.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Masters in Social Work
  • Social Work license in state of practice
  • Current Case Management Certification is required; or obtained within 12 months of hire or within 12 months of eligibility.
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office Suite™ required.

Preferred:

  • 3 years social work experience 
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
