Job Overview

The Senior Supply Chain Contracts Analyst will independently perform procurement and supplier management functions to support capital spend management, supplier contracts, system-wide agreements, corporate operations and various activities related to contract management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the capital management and equipment sourcing process by securing competitive bids for required capital equipment in accordance with SHC policies as well as be a part of the Enterprise Value Analysis process
  • Conduct business reviews of supplier contracts, make recommendations and coordinate for legal review, and is responsible for contract retention and file management
  • Analyze and evaluate supplier quotes, proposals and contracts while negotiating terms and conditions to achieve the best business operations for SHC on capital purchases
  • Assist the Supply Chain Contracting & Project Management Team Lead in maintaining existing system-wide agreements, while also identifying and developing new system-wide agreements
  • Provides support and makes recommendation to Legal, IS and Compliance through contracts and BAA
  • Assist in data analytics to support Supply Chain Management metrics and goals
  • Make judgment decisions to the capital spend management system and Capital Equipment and recommends capital equipment to achieve the best value for Shriners Hospitals for Children
  • Assist the Team Lead in the timely implementing of system-wide agreements through collaboration with suppliers, headquarters and hospital staff
  • Analyze purchase trends and makes recommendations to the SCM
  • Prepare documentation packages including summary of proposals, analysis of responses and recommendations for selection for RFP/RFI
  • The position will gather data to support corporate metrics, analytics and exercise discretion and independent judgment to make decision and recommendations

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associates Degree in related field
  • 4+ years experience in developing and evaluating the business terms of contracts

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • Healthcare supply chain experience
  • 5+ years experience in supply chain sourcing and procurement, negotiating enterprise agreements to include capital equipment
