Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We currently have an opening for a PRN Radiology Technolgist to join our team.  This position will work a few days/week with flexibility on which days of the week.  The hours are typically 7:30am - 5pm or 8am - 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

Radiology technologists are medical personnel who perform diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy.


• Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
• Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease
or injury.
• Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
• Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
• Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
•Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and
flexibility during unexpected work related events.

Qualifications

Certification and Experience

Certificate Radiologic Technology Required

2 Years Orthopedics Preferred

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Required
