Shriners Children's Lexington has an opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant.
The Certified Medical Assistant assists in rooming patients, taking vital signs, measurements, preparation of exam rooms, stocking supplies, assisting the physician, interacting with other departments and documentation in the electronic medical record.
Monday – Friday
Closed weekends and major holidays.
Observe nine holidays: New Year, Martin Luther King, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.
Parking is at no cost to the employee.

Required:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 6 months of hire
High School Diploma / GED
Preferred:
Outpatient Clinic, Orthopaedic and pediatric background preferred.
Lab draw experience preferred.
Procedural experience preferred.
Cast application experience desirable.
