Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for an Department Assistant to join our Rehabilitation team.

 

This position is part time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $22.85 - $34.27/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

 

 

Responsibilities

The Department Administrative Assistant supports the team through performing clerical functions such as meeting minutes, creating letters and spreadsheets, maintaining Outlook calendars for the team, ordering supplies and supporting the leader and department.  Specific tasks include answering the department phone, reserving conference rooms, preparing reports, maintaining computer time and attendance, preparing immigration and Visa letters for patients.

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma required 

 

Skills and Experience

3-5 years administrative experience

Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite of products
