Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a Part-Time Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit.

 

This position is part-time (0.6 FTE or 24 hours per week), non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $48.00/hour - $60.00/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.

Responsibilities

The qualified Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. Collaborative, family-centered care environment. Major focus on pediatric patients with orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal conditions.

 

 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) Required.

Certification/Licensure

  • Licensed RN in state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support  (BLS) recognized by the American Heart Association Required.
  • Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) recognized by the American Heart Association. Obtain within 1 year of employement as required by Hospital.
  • 2+ years of experience required.  Pediatric, Orthopedic and ICU experience a plus.
