Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a Perioperative Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Operating Room; days M - F.

Responsibilities

The Perioperative Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients in all of the perioperative areas, including Pre-op Holding, the Operating Room, and Phase I Recovery Room.  The perioperative RN performs assessments, interventions, circulating, IV starts, airway management, aseptic technique, and various other high acuity skills designed to keep the patients safe before, during, and immediately after surgery.  Our Perioperative team enjoys a quality work-life balance with minimal weekend and holiday call.

BSN-preferred
ADN-minimum requirement

Certification/Licensure

RN in state of WA

Previous surgical/perioperative/procedural experience
