The Electrican assists in the performance of maintenance functions required to keep the physical structure/associated equipment and systems of the hospital operative.         

• Maintains, repairs, and installs electrical systems and equipment throughout the hospital.
• Performs preventive maintenance and service to electrical systems and equipment on schedule as recommended by manufacturer's specifications.
• Exhibits extensive and detailed knowledge of all building electrical systems and equipment. Recommends/submits proposals for improvements/ updates to equipment.
• Records information, problems/changes on P.M.R. Maintains stock inventory. Receives training on National Drug Code (NDC) supplies.
• Report to management when HVAC work installations/equipment may not meet state and local codes/standards. Performs routine building inspections thoroughly. Inspects/improves new equipment apparatus and installations provided by external contractors//vendors.        

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as an Electrician; MA State Electrician license required.
