Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Patient Access Supervisor, full-time Monday - Friday.
The Patient Access Supervisor will be responsible for analyzing and overseeing all Patient Access functions and will perform QA of all Patient Access functions on a consistent basis. The Patient Access Supervisor will utilize reports to analyze registration output and compile recommendations for improvement. The Patient Access Supervisor will provide continuous training for quality improvement. The Patient Access Supervisor will stay abreast of all State, Federal and Managed Care regulations as they pertain to Patient Access.
Education
High School diploma or GED preferred
Associate's degree in related field preferred
Experience
At least 3 years of patient access experience in a pediatric hospital/clinic setting preferred
Previous supervisory/management experience preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
Other
Current full vaccination status required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
