Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a PRN Environmental Services Tech to join our team. The hours will be 11AM until 730PM EST Friday and Saturday.

The Environmental Services Tech provides housekeeping/cleaning/courier service to all patient care, treatment, and diagnostic areas.  Duties include high dusting, basic room cleaning, trash removal, general floor care, and assisting nursing staff as needed.

Education:

High School diploma or GED preferred

Experience:

1 year experience preferred

Other:

Current full vaccination status required

Must be able to communicate, understand, and follow directions
Must be able to read and write
Must be able to push, pull up, and lift objects
Must be able to perform tasks which require bending, stooping, kneeling, stretching, standing and walking
Requires visual discrimination for reading, etc., and hearing acuity for normal sounds with some background noise and for responding to beeper and overhead paging
Must be able to concentrate on details and attending to task/function for extended periods of time
Must be able to remember multiple tasks/assignments over long periods of time
Must be able to drive in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions with a clean driving record
