Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a Temp Philanthropy Data Coordinator based at our Corporate Headquarters location.

 

The Temp Philanthropy Data Coordinator will assist members of the Philanthropy Team to clear up discrepancies between Shriners' Lawson and Blackbaud systems. The Temp Philanthropy Data Coordinator will internally centralize ACH gift transactions, streamlining and accelerating the gift verification and CRM entry turnaround time.

 

This is a Temp position being filled via a temporary agency.  The position is estimated to last approximately 6 months.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as point person for:
    • collecting, tracking, organizing reports for bulk Blackbaud CRM entry, monitoring and reporting on non-matching gift giving platforms (i.e. United Ways, Fidelity, PayPal, Giving Market Place, Ren Charitable, etc.);
    • working closely with accounting to confirm, designate or identify ACH gifts;
    • uploading ACH authorization information to CRM records;
    • working with Shriners Gift Officers on ACH gifts.
    • creating reports for CRM timely entry, associating revenue and more
  • Supporting Matching Gifts with scanning checks and batching as needed
  • Supporting the internal process for Temple Transportation Fund donations that come through the Office of Philanthropy

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • Intermediate MS Excel experience pulling and compiling reports required
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills required
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills required
  • Strong sense of customer service with internal customers required
  • High School Diploma/GED required

 

Experience Preferred:

  • Experience pulling reports from CRM databases, such as Salesforce, highly preferred
  • Experience with donor databases such as Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, Classy, DonorPerfect, CharityEngine, etc. highly preferred
  • Generalized accounting exposure preferred
  • Familiarity with donor terms and the procedures of department preferred
