Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a Security Supervisor 

 

This position is full time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $24.66 - $34.80/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

Responsibilities

This vital position coordinates the day to day activities of the Security and Reception departments, and services as a resource to leadership and staff. 

Other key duties include:

  • Supervision of staff
  • Departmental staffing and scheduling
  • Performance improvement initiatives
  • Data management
  • Assisting the Manager of Facilities, Safety and Security in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, volunteers, patients, visitors and the hospital building
  • Maintains awareness of security issues among employees by conducting new hire orientation
  • Responsible for policies and procedures

 

Qualifications

Candidates must be Licensed Security Officers with at least three years of experience in the field of Security or law enforcement, with previous supervisory experience.  Requires knowledge of industrial security practices and excellent customer services skills. Requires current Consumer Affairs Security Officers License.
