We are a premier pediatric specialty, research, and academic teaching hospital with a medical and research partnership with Massachusetts General Brigham. It is the world’s leading center for pediatric burn care and is the only American Burn Association (ABA) exclusively pediatric verified burn center in New England and New York.
The Boston Shriners Hospital is one of four pediatric burn specialty hospitals in Shriners Children’s health system and provide comprehensive care for cleft lip and palate, as well as other craniofacial anomalies, with a multidisciplinary care team.
To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to carry out all essential duties and responsibilities with normal supervision.
Some duties include: Performs a variety of custodial and housekeeping duties, maintains desired standards of cleanliness, sanitation and appearance, leads cleaning activities in assigned areas, participates in staff development and training within the department.
Will assist with cleaning and servicing the hospital; including a wide range of housekeeping tasks and projects; operation of a mop cart, vacuum cleaner, floor machines and carpet cleaning equipment.
This is a 40 hour week-day position. The work hours are 7:00am-3:30pm
3 year plus of housekeeping experience in a hospital/clinical setting preferred.
