Job Overview

Shriners Children’s, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center, has an opportunity for a RN Care Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

The RN Care Manager is responsible for providing assessments, planning, interventions and follow-up for patients and family members at Shriners Children's across the continuum of care. Through this function, by joining the team, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact on our patient's experience. You'll help to provide continuity of care for positive outcomes in our family centered environment.

Qualifications

BSN required, MSN preferred.

Required experience:

  • 5+ years of clinical experience in Pediatrics, Burn care and/or Orthopaedics preferred.
  • 3-5 years Care Coordination/Case Management experience is preferred.
  • Experience with utilization review/management with a working knowledge of InterQual criteria is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with disease management and application of motivational interview techniques required.
