Job Overview

To provide pharmaceutical services to staff to include preparation of medications to be dispensed, maintaining inventory and a variety of administrative and operational functions as a member of the pharmacy team.

 

This position is per diem, non-exempt, and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $27.74-$41.62/hourly. Compensation is determined based on experience and department equity. 

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the appropriate technique to prepare medications to be dispensed for patient administration
  • Performs a variety of activities/services to maintain an adequate inventory of pharmacy supplies and
    medications both in the pharmacy and in the patient care areas
  • Performs a variety of patient care related services that indirectly affects each patient’s quality of care
  • Performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the Pharmaceutical
    Services Department

Qualifications

Required:

  • Pharmacy Technician licensure 
  • COVID-19 vaccination and booster

Preferred:

  • 2+ years inpatient pharmacy experience
  • 1+ years IV compounding experience
