Job Overview

Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time Operating Room RN. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives.  Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most.  Hours: This full-time position is ten hour shifts working 4 days per week (5:30 am – 4:00 pm) and includes an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

  • The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. 
  • Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and to provide continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room. 

This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • BSN degree required or in progress
  • Ohio RN license
  • 2+ years OR experience

Preferred:

  • CNOR highly preferred
  • Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus
