About Shriners Children's Shreveport

Shriners Children’s Shreveport is the first hospital established in the Shriners Children’s healthcare system and continues its nearly 100-year legacy of providing high-quality, compassionate, and family-centered care. As a pediatric multispecialty outpatient clinic, we specialize in orthopedics (spine, hand, and neuromuscular conditions), sports medicine, oral and maxillofacial surgery, rheumatology, genetic evaluation, and spasticity management.

Our facility is located directly adjacent to the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, offering exceptional opportunities for academic collaboration and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. We are supported by two strong clinical affiliates—Ochsner LSU St. Mary’s Medical Center and Willis-Knighton South—which enhance continuity of care for our patients.

With robust Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support and access to the EPIC electronic medical record system, our care teams are equipped to deliver efficient, integrated services. Our onsite resources include advanced radiology (featuring EOS imaging), prosthetics and orthotics, rehabilitation, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, a motion analysis center, and Child Life services, all designed to support a holistic approach to pediatric care.
