Job Overview

Cleans and maintains assigned areas of the hospital in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition.This position provides services necessary to prevent cross-contamination and the spread of infection between patients, visitors, and staff.

 

This position is per diem, non-exempt and health insurance eligible. The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.47/hour. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience and department equity. 

 

Must be available to work varied shifts and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of activities to clean assigned areas in patient rooms, operating rooms, pre-op/recovery rooms, and/or common areas of the hospital, according to established procedures
  • Completes assignments in an efficient manner while maintaining a high standard of work, ensuring the established guidelines and practices are met
  • Utilizes proper knowledge of safety, hospital codes and infection control measures according to established departmental guidelines

Qualifications

 

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of environment services experience in a hospital setting
