Job Overview

Shriners Children’s Northern California is seeking a qualified Epic Analyst to join our team.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT applications and have strong working knowledge of the Epic Health Record System.

This position is temporary full time. The pay range for this position is $41.62 - $62.42/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

 

This position is office based in Sacramento CA.  Not a remote position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clinical and administrative teams to understand their clinical and in-patient workflows. Provide the tools and training necessary to meet the growing Clinical and In-Patient requirements.
  • Aid in the implementation and optimization of Epic software.
  • Provide support to end-users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Shriners HQ technical teams to ensure system integrations are functioning properly.
  • Provide training to Clinical Staff Nurses, Surgeons, Orthopedic physicians, and Resident physicians, as necessary.

 

This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field preferred
  • Technical ability with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Epic Systems EMR software.
