Job Overview

We have an opportunity for a full-time Sterile Processing Tech to join our Spokane, WA team.  Sterile Processing Technicians provide assistance in Central Supply and the surgical area for infant, preschool, school age and young adult (up to age 21) patients. 

 

Compensation range: Pay range for this position is $18.36/hr - $27.54/hr. The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education

Responsibilities

  • The Sterile Processing Tech shall be knowledgeable and implement the decontamination, preparing and sterilization of surgical supplies and equipment.
  • Assembles case carts containing consumable supplies and instrumentation.
  • Cleans/decontaminates surgical instruments.
  • Identifies and assembles multiple types of surgical instruments and instrument sets.
  • Inspects instruments, replaces or send for repairs.

This is not an all inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1 year working with surgical instruments
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

 

Preferred

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Central Supply Processing Department Technician (CSPDT)
