Job Overview

Our Outcomes Coordinator is responsible for overall maintenance of the clinical outcomes program as developed by Shriners Hospitals for Children Home Office in conjunction with the Hospital.  

 

This position is full time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $32.25/hour - $48.38/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

 

This position is on-site in Sacramento CA.

Responsibilities

This position works to collect and track clinically important patient outcome indicators and assists with translating results into clinical care of the patient and their families.

  • Working with all clinical departments to capture data that improves clinical care
  • Entering clinical data into a database
  • Tracking patient visits and auditing the data for completeness and accuracy
  • Assisting with streamlining clinical processes related to Outcomes data collection.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree is Healthcare, Engineering, Statistics or related field
  • Ability to manage and maintain valid and reliable database systems
  • Experience with access to and use of data from internal and external transaction systems
  • Familiar with health delivery models and have expertise in healthcare processes
  • Strong PC applications skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills

 

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in public health or similar healthcare related field
  • Experience in patient interaction, medical terminology, electronic medical records (EMR), patient reported outcomes assessments, process improvement, and statistical analysis
  • Experience in CENER Millennium
