Job Overview

Shriners Children's St. Louis has an opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist.  Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most. 

Responsibilities

  • The Clinical Psychologist facilitates emotional and behavioral adjustment for children who are hospitalized with diverse medical conditions such as burns and orthopaedic conditions. 
  • In this position, you'll get the opportunity to work in a family centered care environment focusing on pain and anxiety management, management of trauma symptoms, grief and loss. 
  • You'll also work with the child to assist with school and community reintegration to improve the child's quality of life and facilitate the child leading a productive life.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Doctorate in Psychology 
  • License in the state of practice

Preferred:

  • One year experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
