Shriners Children’s Chicago offers specialized care for a wide range of pediatric orthopedic, bone and joint conditions, including rare diseases and syndromes. • The Patient Care Assistant assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. 
• The PCA provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned. 
• Must consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families. 
• Assists with wound and skin care, keeps unit and work areas stocked, and provides delegated nursing care activities as appropriate.

Required:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• One year of pediatric experience.
