Job Overview

Shriners Children's St. Louis has an opportunity for a Clinical Coordinator in our Operating Room. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Responsibilities

  • The Nurse Clinical Coordinator provides leadership, direction and clinical support to nursing staff to promote quality patient care and a safe work environment. 
  • The successful leader will monitor staff performance, attendance/tardiness, and professional work environment with a team approach. 
  • In this position, you'll be responsible for supervising orientation of new staff, educating staff on policies and procedures and always look for performance improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSN)
  • 3 years’ experience as an Operating Room Nurse
  • Active RN license in State of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Preferred:

  • 1 years’ experience in a supervisory position preferred
  • CNOR
