Job Overview

We currently have an opening for a PRN Sports Medicine Physical Therapist to join our Spokane, WA team. The Physical Therapist provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral.

 

Schedule: PRN (in-person)

Holidays: 9 observed holidays per year

Compensation range: Pay range for this position is $32.81/hr - $56.25/hr. The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.

Responsibilities

  • Concussion evaluation/treatment with collaboration with on-site sports medicine pediatrician and ATC's.
  • The Physical Therapist is an integral member of the rehab team and is responsible for the administration of appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for the rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21.
  • Responsible for adherence to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes and provide the highest quality of patient centered care.
  • Participates in patient and family teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines.
  • Plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through the integration of skill development, strength and movement, play based activities, and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

Required

  • Licensed in WA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred

  • 1 year experience in Physical Therapy
