Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a Medical Staff Services Coordinator in our Medical Staff Office.

The Medical Staff Services Coordinator serves as an administrative resource to the Chief of Staff, Medical Staff, and hospital Administration.  In collaboration with the Credentialing Verification Office, you'll act as a liaison between the medical staff to credential and privilege medical students, residents, fellows, advance practice providers through their process.

Education

High School diploma or GED Required, Associates degree Preferred

Certification/Licensure

Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred

Skills

Three years in Medical Staff services and/or five years in hospital experience preferred

Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements preferred.
