Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a Resource Navigator within our Care Management department to join our team.

 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • The Resource Navigator is an administrative position that assists patients and families with navigating and accessing external resources, support systems, and information by telephone or in person. 
  • The Navigator is responsible for providing clerical support, assisting the team with problem-solving and facilitating inpatient and outpatient visits and care. 
  • This position proactively addresses potential or actual transportation and lodging needs as identified by the interdisciplinary team. 
  • The Resource Navigator identifies the need and coordinates the assistance of a bilingual interpreter where necessary, and assists international patients by facilitating Visas, airline letters and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma / GED
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Preferred:

  • Experience in a customer support or administrative role
  • Experience with travel, accommodations, scheduling
