Summary:
Patient Access, Scheduling, Registration and patient discharge (including all required signatures and follow up). Insurance verification and authorization approval for POPS services. Entering data into OPIE, obtaining detailed written orders (including physician signature), audit of work in progress (WIP) through date of delivery. Provides estimates of fees to families, including discussing their financial obligation (when appropriate) including financial counseling and means testing when indicated. Audit of EMR prior to submission for billing.

Education
High School diploma required
Skills and Experience
1 year administrative experience required, preferrably in a health care setting.
Orthotics and Prosthetics prior exposure very beneficial.
Skilled with computers and data entry i.e., Microsoft Office, Excel & Word.
Proficient in EMR systems.
