Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Medical Staff Services Coordinator in our Medical Staff Office. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the successful candidate will act as a liaison between the SHC Credentialing Verification Office (CVO) and the SCSC Medical Staff Office, supporting the credentialing and privileging application process.
This position is full time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
Typical schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm

Provides administrative support to Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Professionals, as required.
Schedules, coordinates, prepares agenda, and takes minutes, for Medical Staff committees as outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws.
Works with COS on call schedules, timekeeping, contracts, budgets, expenses, and communicates to on and off site providers
Education
High School diploma or GED Required, Associates degree preferred, or combination of education and management experience deemed equivalent.
Certification/Licensure
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred
