Help create a brighter, stronger future for the children we serve at Shriners Children’s Southern California (SCSC). We are a family-centered, pediatric subspecialty Ambulatory Surgical Center located in Pasadena, providing complex care for children with orthopedic conditions.
The pharmacy provides comprehensive services for a pediatric ambulatory surgery center and outpatient clinic. The pharmacist plays a key role in supporting both surgical and clinical operations by checking, preparing, compounding, and distributing medications.
Compensation for the position ranges from $64 - $84 per hour, and is based upon experience and departmental equity.
This is a per-diem position, which means the role is scheduled on an as-needed basis rather than a fixed full-time or part-time schedule. Per-diem employees have flexible schedules and may be asked to work based on the organization's staffing needs and the employee's availability.

Education
Bachelor in Pharmacy required, PharmD preferred
Certification/Licensure
Pharmacy license in state of practice required
Experience
Required:
2 years Pharmacy Outpatient experience required
Preferred:
Experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting
Experience using Omnicell automated dispensing systems
Previous experience in an inpatient surgical pharmacy setting
