At Shriners Children's St. Louis, we have a team of physicians and specialists who are highly trained and experienced in pediatric orthopedics. This team is equipped to treat children with a variety of different orthopedic conditions ranging from mild to complex. Other specialties you will find at our facility include limb lengthening and reconstruction, spine care, muscular and neuromuscular care, orthotics and prosthetics and plastic surgery.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Clinical Coordinator provides leadership, direction and clinical support to nursing staff to promote quality patient care and a safe work environment.  The successful leader will monitor staff performance, attendance/tardiness, and support a professional work environment with a team approach.  In this position, you'll be responsible for supervising orientation of new staff, educating staff on policies and procedures and always look for performance improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Required

Associates degree (ADN) required

Bachelor’s degree (BSN) required withn five years of service

Active RN license in State of practice

BLS 

 

Preferred

PALS

3 years’ experience as a Nurse

1 years’ experience in a supervisory position
