To simplify access to care, we partner with emergency air ambulances to transport critically injured children, coordinating transportation to and from the hospital in Sacramento and Northern California, the Western United States, Canada and Mexico.

Shriners Children’s is looking for a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Radiologist to join our team at Shriners Children’s Northern California. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading STAT and routine pediatric cases from both our inpatient and outpatient services. Imaging modalities are predominately pediatric x-ray and ultrasound with some CT imaging. Read volumes generally average around 100 studies a day and predominately focus on pediatric MSK and general pediatric cases.
This position entails a 1.0 FTE commitment with a Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm schedule with no nights, weekends, or call expected. Providers will also have the opportunity to provide teleradiology services 4 days a week with 1 day a week onsite to perform radiologist assisted procedures such as VCUG, contrast enemas, and cystograms. Compensation ranges from $414,343 to $701,946 depending on experience and departmental equity.
