Job Overview

The Senior Coordinator, Digital Fundraising will be an integral part of the digital fundraising team responsible for assisting in the strategy, development, segmentation, analysis of all digital direct response fundraising initiatives, which include email, social media, SEO/SEM, digital advertising, and programmatic programs. Provides support to the Director, Digital Fundraising and Associate Director, Digital Fundraising on all campaigns, digital projects and donor journeys with the focus to acquire, retain, reactivate and upgrade digital donors. Provides technological support for on-line fundraising platform (Classy) to internal staff and donors to ensure the best in-class experience.


This role will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising email communication strategies to engage and retain donors. This role involves managing the end-to-end process of email campaigns, from planning and content creation to delivery and performance analysis. Ensures that all email communications are aligned with the organization's goals and effectively reach the target audience. Collaborates with various teams and vendor partners to implement best practices, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the overall email communication strategy.  Occasional travel will be required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the national email fundraising program and must work alongside our fundraising vendors to ensure growth and success of the program. Focusing on acquiring, retaining, reactivating and upgrading donors through email marketing while keeping our metrics up and maintaining email list hygiene. Oversee hospital locations sub-accounts, maintaining a training program and directing/assisting local teams as needed with technical support and strategy. Facilitate weekly/biweekly calls with our fundraising vendor partners to ensure we are on target with current/upcoming strategy and goals. Assist with building out email communications. Assist with strategy recommendations for email campaigns.
  • Assist with the national direct response tentpole fundraising campaigns, specifically pertaining to the digital channel strategy and creative with a focus on acquiring, retaining, reactivating and upgrading donors.
  • Assist with the national digital advertising program and social media fundraising, Which includes digital ads, banner ads, search engine optimization, search engine marketing and must work alongside our fundraising vendors to ensure growth and success of the program, along with social media paid digital ads, fundraising social media posts through coordination with our MarCom team, other social media fundraising projects and must work alongside our fundraising vendors to ensure growth and success. Focusing on acquiring, retaining, reactivating and upgrading donors
  • Assist Classy campaigns for both HQ and national initiatives, which includes creating landing pages, donation forms using Classy Studio, thank you pages, emails, registration details, and managing Classy Live. Acting as the main liaison between the DRM team and Marcom, for SC.org content. Maintain and update Classy campaigns and donation forms as needed, manage and monitor all Classy transaction activity, and develop, test, and implement new digital initiatives or campaigns, while always trying to optimize current digital campaigns for continued growth and success
  • Work in tandem with our other direct marketing fundraising staff and fundraising vendor partners to create and improve upon integrated channel donor journeys that will positively influence KPI metrics and retention.
  • Provide digital support and assets to Director, Digital Fundraising, locations and other areas of the Philanthropy department
  • Provide digital support to donors ensuring they have a top-tier donor experience.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • 3 years of digital marketing, digital fundraising, communications or non-profit management experience
  • Strong Email Marketing expertise
  • Salesforce Email Enterprise
  • Creative design experience including proficiency in graphic design software, developing visually compelling content, and/or collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce innovative digital materials
  • Experience or familiarity with relational databases and statistical data analysis
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience working with CRM tools and enterprise-level ESP's

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing
  • Proficient in Spanish, both written and verbal preferred
