The hospital offers a range of services, including orthopedics, scoliosis surgery, sports medicine, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and pediatric rehabilitation/therapy. The facility is Joint Commission accredited, reflecting its commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. We offer low-cost, on-site parking. Shriners Children’s is looking for an experienced full-time Pediatric Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia. Successful candidates should be board certified in orthopedic surgery and have completed a fellowship in hand & upper extremity surgery. Ideal candidates should also have substantial experience and interest in caring for pediatric patients, particularly those with brachial plexus, congenital differences, post-traumatic deformities, and sports injuries. Prior hand service line leadership experience is highly preferred.
This position entails a 1.0 FTE commitment with a regular weekday schedule and minimal non-emergent home call expectations.
