Responsible for clerical and data collection functions related to the receipt of patient applications for treatment at Shriners Children's Greenville. Works closely with the Applications Coordinator to enter data for all applications for new patients. Works closely with the Scheduling Coordinator to complete the administrative functions related to surgical and non-surgical hospital admissions. Maintains the data needed to track and record both individual and aggregate application and admission data. Performs various other administrative duties.
Required:
High School Diploma/GED
1 Year of administrative/receptionist experience
Demonstrates competence in the use of various computer programs, to include but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Able to format and accurately type internal and external correspondence. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details required. Must have effective communication skills.
Preferred:
Knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling systems and/or experience in a physician’s office, preferred.
