Shriners Children’s Chicago offers specialized care for a wide range of pediatric orthopedic, bone and joint conditions, including rare diseases and syndromes. Hours: Our OR team enjoys a quality work-life balance schedule with no scheduled OR cases on weekends and holidays. Will need to take call at least 1x/week and rotating weekends.

The pay range for this position is $38.13/hour - $47.67/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. 
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and to provide continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.

Required:

• BSN degree required or in progress
• Illinois RN license
• 2+ years OR experience

Preferred:

• CNOR highly preferred
• Scrub experience
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, orthopedic and spine experience a plus
