Job Overview

The Administrative Assistant functions as coordinator / office manager of medical staff office for physicians, physician assistants, research personnel with hospital-wide communication.  Collaborates with Medical Director, Clinic Director, Board of Governors, and all related organizations.  Functions as a productive secretarial support member of the medical staff office.  We have an opportunity for a Part Time Administrative Assistant in our Salt Lake City facility.

 

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (part time)

Responsibilities

  • Medstaff on-boarding
  • Work with HQ credentialing team to help on-board any new consulting physicians
  • Send applications to all new residents and credential them using MD-Staff verification processes
  • Attend monthly calendar meetings
  • Update outlook, schedule meetings, etc.
  • Keep track of medical license renewal dates and assist with applying for new licenses
  • Update MD-Staff with resident updates
  • Work with HQ provider enrollment to get signatures/provider updates for Medicaid/insurance enrollment
  • Update quarterly academic workbook from HQ

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

  • 1 year transcription, medical terminology, office organizational skills
  • 5 years clerical experience with the ability to coordinate, manage, and follow-up
