Job Overview

The Department Assistant, Radiology, supports the Radiology team acting as the film librarian and providing receptionist duties for the department.  Hours for this part-time position are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 12 noon.

Responsibilities

The part-time Department Assistant, Radiology will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate, efficient and up to date film library records
  • Files permanant medical records
  • Track outside films/images that come in
  • Serves as a receptionist for the department including greeting visitors, answer departmental phone and taking messages
  • Serves as a point of contact for patients and their families providing information and resources
  • Maintains confidentiality

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma required 

 

Skills and Experience

1 years administrative experience required

1 year experience in a clinic or hospital setting preferred

Basic/Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite of products
