Job Overview

Shriners Children’s Chicago is looking for a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy. Hours:  This part-time position is day shift and will work two 8-hour shifts per week.  

 

The pay range for this position is $33.47/hour - $41.85/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
• Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease
or injury.
• Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
• Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
• Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
•Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and
flexibility during unexpected work related events.

Qualifications

Required:

Associates Degree Radiologic Technology

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Radiologic Technologist license in state of practice

 

Preferred:

One year pediatric and/or orthopedic radiology experience.
