Job Overview

The Manager of Nutrition Services is responsible for the overall management of the clinical nutrition and food service aspects of the department.  Includes management of the operations of the kitchen, cafeteria and patient room service.  Oversees nutrition requirements of patients, works with multi-disciplinary staff to optimize patient care.  Personnel management of kitchen staff and clinical dietitian.  Shriners Children's Spokane is looking for a full time Manager, Nutrition Services to join our team!

 

The pay range for this position is $31.77-$47.66/hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for department strategic directions, budget, staff training, process improvement, customer service, and equipment
  • Responsible for compliance with guidelines, policies and procedures, and regulations regarding safety and sanitation, infection control, and customer service
  • Develops, documents, implements and evaluates nutrition care plans
  • Collaborates with multi-disciplinary care team to meet patients nutrition needs
  • Directs menu writing, recipe development and product tasting
  • Develops and adheres to standards of practice, policies and procedures
  • Staff training on skills equipment, policies and procedures, and regulations

Qualifications

Required

  • 5 years Clinical Dietetics
  • Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Registration
  • Washington State Food Worker Card

Preferred

  • Bachelor Dietetics or Food and Nutrition Science
  • 2 years Food Service Management
  • Washington State Dietetic Certification
