The Clinical Research Coordinator is a research professional who ensures oversight and compliance of both system-wide and local clinical research activities. Works collaboratively with research personnel to ethically recruit and consent pediatric subjects and to appropriately collect and safeguard data. Overall, the Clinical Research Coordinator is the site's primary liaison among research participants, the local investigator(s) and study sponsors. The position's main responsibilities are to help ensure proper study conduct, subject safety, and the quality of data and data safeguards. Other responsibilities:
Required
Bachelor's degree in clinical research, science or other healthcare field
At least one (1) year of relevant research experience, e.g. site management, study management, research regulatory experience, data collection, compliance or other applicable experience
Working knowledge of the clinical research process
Knowledge of ethical standards for research and a commitment to protect all participants
Preferred
Masters degree in related field
Licensure: CCRP or CCRC
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
