The Maintenance Technician under minimal supervision, maintains and repairs plant equipment, buildings and grounds.  Assists the maintenance engineers with the functioning of building systems including electrical, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition (HVAC), structural, mechanical, fire/life safety, etc.  Coordinates with contractors for complex facilities renovation projects entailing mechanical, structural, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition (HVAC), electrical, production, etc.  Ability to read blueprints / schematics.  Documents repairs and maintenance completed.  Spokane Shriners is looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to join the team!

Schedule:  Full time 1.0 FTE (on site)

The pay range for this position is $21.54/hour - $32.31/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

• Maintain the buildings, grounds, and equipment in good safe condition operating efficiently and economically to promote maximum longevity
• Plan and implement building alterations
• Work with contractors to achieve the best results for Shriners-Spokane
• Maintain the level of supplies needed by the maintenance department to perform routine maintenance and repair of building and equipment
• Participate in and conduct drills to improve the readiness of the hospital staff in the case of internal and external disaster situations.  Perform safety inspections and act on safety inspection performed by others
• Participate in positive and effective communications; demonstrate flexibility to change as required; promote inter/intra department teamwork; work efficiently and demonstrate integrity
