Job Overview

 

The Senior Workday Systems Analyst serves as the Common Configurator for Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Workday Financials (FDM), Supply Chain, Security, Integration and Core. This role will focus on Workday Integration development, monitoring, and support providing end-user assistance across HCM, Financials, and Supply Chain modules. This role is critical to ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and external/internal systems, supporting business operations through robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions. As a technical expert, they will collaborate with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and IS teams to translate business needs into integration strategies, maintain system stability, and drive continuous improvement in our Workday ecosystem.

 

This position will play a critical role in supporting the Workday Finance implementation, ensuring a successful go-live, and providing ongoing support for future-state enhancements. This position serves as a liaison between Finance, IT, and other stakeholders, leveraging deep Workday expertise to optimize business processes and system functionality.

 

Responsibilities

  • Implementation Support
    • Collaborate with Finance and technical teams during Workday Financials implementation
    • Assist with configuration validation, testing and troubleshooting
    • Support data conversion, integrations, and reporting requirements
  • Go-Live Readiness
    • Participate in cutover planning and execution
    • Provide end-user support during go-life and stabilization period
    • Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly
  • Post Go-Life & Future State
    • Maintain and enhance Workday Financials functionality, including business processes, security, and reporting
    • Partner with Finance leadership to identify opportunities for optimization and automation
    • Manage system updates, regression testing, and new feature adoption
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as a SME for Workday Financial modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Customer Accounts, Expenses, etc.)
    • Provide training and documentation for end-users
    • Act as a liaison between Finance and IT for issue resolution and enhancements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong knowledge of at least two Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, FDM or Supply Chain).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience with Workday configuring and supporting at least two modules
  • Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and integration frameworks
