Benefits

Shriners Children’s Portland is seeking a skilled, collaborative part-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support our pediatric orthopedic outreach clinic in Redmond, Oregon. This 0.1 FTE role ensures consistent access to high-quality pediatric orthopedic care for children and families in Central Oregon.
The APP will work closely with Shriners Children’s pediatric orthopedic surgeons during clinic days, with increasing clinical independence over time. Initially, the APP will partner directly with on-site physicians for patient evaluations, treatment planning, and procedures, with the long-term goal of practicing semi-independently as competencies are achieved.
This role focuses exclusively on pediatric orthopedics, including new patient evaluations, postoperative visits, routine follow-ups, and occasional casting. There are no operating room or procedural sedation responsibilities. The APP will work two Fridays per month (second and fourth Fridays, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.), with potential for expanded clinic days as patient demand grows.
This is an excellent opportunity for an APP passionate about pediatric orthopedics, with strong clinical reasoning skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding care in a community-based setting, while contributing to Shriners Children’s mission.
