Job Overview

The Department Assistant (Research) will collect and clean laboratory glassware, sterilize equipment, maintain case supply stock and receive shipments.

 

The pay range for this position is $17.53 hourly to $26.00 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.

Responsibilities

  • Collects dirty glassware daily from research labs
  • Maintains equipment and glass washing room
  • Maintains case supply stock
  • Receives all shipments for the Research Department
  • Handles dry ice
  • Receives shipments for the entire Hospital
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma or GED required

 

 

Experience

Must possess a working knowledge of computers and medical supplies

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs.
