Shriners Children’s is looking for a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Shriners Children’s Portland. This provider will support our Orthopedics team and provide care to pediatric patients in a predominantly outpatient setting with some inpatient responsibilities, providing a well-balanced mix of clinical experience. This position offers a daytime-only schedule working four 10-hour shifts, with no routine nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.
In the outpatient setting, the APP will run independent clinics across fracture clinic, general orthopedics, spine clinic, and multidisciplinary clinics. While clinics are generally managed independently, an orthopedic surgeon is assigned for consult support. The majority of clinics will be in the Portland metro area with 2-4 days per month at the Redmond clinic (travel expenses covered).
The inpatient component includes daily rounds, discharge summaries, coordination of medications with nursing, laboratory follow-up, and consultation with specialty services, with support from the orthopedic and hospitalist teams.
The pay range for this position is $118,774.66 – $178,159.90. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
