The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) engages in the professional practice of communication and swallowing. The SLP recognizes the needs, abilities, values, preferences, interests of individuals and families to whom they provide clinical services, as well as, integrates those factors along with best current research evidence in making clinical decisions. The SLP provides individualized evaluations, treatments plans, family education and training, as well as, staff education and training to meet the communication and swallowing needs of their patients and families.
The pay range for this position is $38.16 hourly to $57.25 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.
Education
Masters degree in Speech Pathology required
Certification/Licensure
Licensed in state of practice
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC's) required
CPR/BLS (per facility policy)
Skills
Experience in the pediatric specialty of the hospital, which may include Outpatient, Inpatient Rehabilitation.
1 year experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
