Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; plans, assigns, and directs workflow, appraises employee performance and rewards and disciplines; accordingly, addresses complaints and resolves problems; and actively oversees and manages production and quality control efforts. The Regional Director will implement and support all Corporate HIM initiatives and activities, as well as providing / supporting coverage at the facility level for department operations, reimbursement opportunities, various program implementation, and HIM specific system installations.   This position oversees our facilities in Boston, MA; Springfield, MA: Erie, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Greenville, SC; and Dayton, OH.

The Motion Analysis Center Developmental Specialist (MACDS) is a fully funded hospital position who will collaborate with the local and home office research departments and other MACDS, System Motion Analysis Center (MAC) Physical Therapist and System MAC Engineer.   The role of the MACDS is to develop research and/or clinical programs that advance our understanding of movement analysis in pediatrics. Shriners Children’s MACs primarily perform gait analysis, but is interested in expanding services for the upper extremity, spine and sports analysis. We are searching for candidates that are familiar with marker motion capture (preferable Vicon based) and can develop new models for motion. Shriner Children’s is also interested in exploring the application of new technologies such as markerless 2D analysis and wearable sensors in pediatrics. A strong candidate will have the ability to code, preferably in Python, and have experience in statistical analysis of motion data, machine learning and/or management of large data sets.    This position is on-site and will be based on Lexington.    The pay range for this position is $48.72-73.08/hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.
